Other things I've produced
(besides software)

  • I sing with the Mount Desert Summer Chorale and produce their web site.

  • Transferred a couple of old Jamaican Folk Singers records onto a CD. Here are the liner notes.

  • I helped convert the 1976 PMEA District 7 Concert Band LP into MP3 format and contribute it to BrassCast, a weekly podcast program devoted to brass band music. Here's the mp3 sound file from BrassCast's Feb 4 '07 show featuring this music, including Shostakovitch's Festive Overture and two pieces by Clifton Williams.

  • Mouse Phenome Database. A dynamic content scientific resource web site. This is what I've been employed in doing since summer of 2000. (Ongoing)

  • A collaborative database of inbred mouse strain characteristics. This is an article that's been accepted for publication in the journal Bioinformatics. (May 2004)

  • Excellent adventures with Redhat 2.4.18 on a Thinkpad 600 laptop. A discussion on setting up an IBM Thinkpad 600 laptop with RH Linux, PCMCIA modem, PPP, etc. for home internet browsing, word processing, etc. Intended as an aid to others who are trying to do the same thing. (March 2003)

  • Organized the 2006 Running of the Wildcats 5K running race (a fundraiser for our local 8th grade class) and produced a small web site for the race.
